Moto X Pure Edition (2015) nears the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and has currently pending partner support as Motorola's support page has revealed. According to reports, the update will come with LTE Band 12 Support for T-Mobile versions.

Motorola has revealed that the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) unit may not be on the frontline of Android 6.0 Marshmallow software, the device is already confirmed for the upgrade due in the first quarter of 2016.

However, there have been reports previously published that the device will receive the upgrade in November. Users have to take this news with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, Motorola Mobility Software Product Manager David Schuster revealed that the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) device on T-Mobile will get the LTE Band 12 Support along with the Marshmallow software. In India and Brazil, Android 6.0 Marshmallow had been initially rolled out to Moto X Style, Moto X (2014), and Moto X Pure Edition.

The cutting-edge LTE support has not been confirmed however if it will come with T-Mobile's very own Wi-Fi calling since the company still is in the process of seeking approval from the carrier.

Moto X Pure Edition (2015) across the board will be heading to a soak test yet before the official release. Moto G (2014) currently undergoes this stage before hitting official Marshmallow button.

Schuster said that the deployment to the devices means the beginning of the release throughout the world in the next few weeks.

Sadly though, some devices might bid goodbye to updates as older phones are said not to receive the Marshmallow software. As per list from Vine Report, devices candidate for Lollipop stuck-up include Moto X (2013), Moto G (2013), Moto E (2013), and Moto G (2013) with LTE.

Joining Moto X Pure Edition (2015) in the Marshmallow lineup are Moto X Play, Moto G (2015), Moto G (2014), Moto X Pure Edition (2014), Moto X (2014), Moto G (2014) with LTE, DROID Turbo, Moto MAXX (2014) and Moto Turbo (2014).
