Fans might be in for an action packed treat as Junior College reports that in an interview, Vin Diesel said, "Yeah, it's one of those page turners, you cannot put the script down." 

Vin Diesel talks more about how fun playing the character is as he says, "Xander Cage is one of those characters that you just enjoy playing and most of the time I play really deep characters, at times really dark characters and you have to go to a dark place to play those characters."

If Vin Diesel is having fun, the fans may just have the same fun in watching a spy movie crossing extreme sports.

In a recent post in his Instagram page, Diesel said "Hands down one of the most fun characters I've played is Xander... Stunts are intense and call for rigorous training but the execution is just FUN!"

Nothing much has been spilled about what the plot is, but according to recent reports, 3 scripts have been handed to the 'Furious' actor, one of which is "XXX 3"  while the other two being "Kojack" and "Guardians of the Galaxy 2".

For studio executives, bringing back Vin Diesel to the franchise may just revive it from "XXX 2: State of the Union" which featured Ice Cube. Coming from blockbuster hits "Guardians of the Galaxy" and the most recent installment of the "Fast and the Furious" franchise,  Vin Diesel can bring back what fans loved about XXX in the first place. According to the Entertainment Weekly, filming would begin in December.

There is no news yet about the plot and release date of XXX: The Return of Xander Cage. Until then, fans can just recall Diesel's awesome performance by watching the XXX movie all over again.
