The Dying Light: The Following downloadable content is basically a masterpiece at its own right-at least that is how Techland treats it, and presents to the fans of the franchise. With so much gratitude to those that tolerated the adventures of Kyle Crane, Techland believes that there will be something to hold on to, and wait for.

According to Yibada, Dying Light's The Following DLC update is considerably the return of gratitude by Techland, after the awesome reception that the fans have given to it. Five million copies later, a new downloadable content update is ready to take on the field, with a handful of features to bring in the noise.

As reported by Christian Post, the upcoming Dying Light: The Following downloadable content update is said to be comprised of many admirable traits, one of which is the simple ten-hour gameplay time. Techland further promised to fans that most of the updates and additions will not be for anything less than what they deserve.

Techland was also quoted stating, "We're adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion. Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we've created here. Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans."

To elaborate more, it was delivered by Vine Report that Dying Light: The Following will have more environmental aspects to it, such as multiple caves, farms, open fields, waterfalls and others to name. This simply drifts away from the conventional surroundings that the players are used to encountering, which is basically the urban jungle flocked with houses and buildings.

One of the notable factors in the downloadable content would be the dune buggie that was seen in the game's very popular trailer. It is also presumable that because of it, upgrades will be made available. The avid shooters of the franchise are also in for a treat with the addition of a crossbow, and also Uzi firearms.

Dying Light: The Following is presumed to be a sequel because of how gigantic the expansion seemingly is. The said DLC is anticipated to be released within 2016.
