Now that "Fallout 4" has been officially rolled out, a lot of fans are speculating that Bethesda might just as well release the highly-anticipated "Elder Scrolls 6" come 2016. Now, rumor has it that the said game might just be a direct sequel to "Skyrim," contrary to what gamers have been hoping for.

"Elder Scrolls 6" has become one of the biggest anticipated games in gaming history soon after the previous installments quickly became chart-toppers worldwide. Hence it shouldn't be a big deal if fans are to ask Bethesda to release the second part of the installment. However, despite the fact that "Fallout 4" has been released, Bethesda is still keeping everything under wraps, as reported by Christian Post. And if the Maryland-based video game company finally decides to make "Elder Scrolls 6" a reality, it might reportedly be out as an online version.

According to Latino Post, the latest "Elder Scrolls 6" assumptions were drawn out from Pete Hines, the VR of PR and Marketing for Bethesda. Hines reportedly made statements that point out to a possible 2016 release. This is most especially that Bethesda is popular for releasing "Elder Scrolls" every four years, and "Elder Scrolls 6" particularly, has the same case.

It is worth noting that Bethesda decided to create the "Elder Scrolls" online version ever since the game's huge success. They even have asked help from ZeniMax Online, as the online industry is not the company's expertise. Nonetheless, reports suggest that "Elder Scroll 6" has experienced bugs and glitches during its development stage.

Vine Report, on other hand, stated that "Elder Scroll 6" might instead come out as a "Skyrim" sequel, one that is beyond what fans have expected. It will neither reportedly be based on "Oblivion" nor "Morrowind." Nonetheless, in terms of the location, it might be Valenwood or Elsweyr. As for its storyline, it might focus on the White God Concordat as well as the rise of the Thalmor Empire.

Although these speculations might be quite interesting to some, all are but unconfirmed as Bethesda haven't release any official word for "Elder Scrolls 6." In the meantime, fans can continue hoping for the game to be released in 2016.
