A lot of speculations have been circulating about the cast of upcoming sequel 'The Expendables 4'. With recent updates though, it seems Stallone is getting a lot of turn downs from the international stars that are being tapped to join his crew.

In a report by Yibada, among those being tapped are Jackie Chan, Manny Pacquiao and Salman Khan. The report says 8-division boxing champ Pacquiao distanced himself because his schedule will not permit. This seems just about right because filming will start on 2016 and he has a scheduled bout during the same year.

Fans have been speculating that Bollywood star Salman Khan is being courted to join the 'The Expendables 4' cast ever since he and Stallone started tweeting. But according to an article by Movie Talkies, Khan already said in an event that he has absolutely no interest in going to Hollywood.

Reportedly, the actor said, "'I like to work in India a lot and I like to deliver dialogues in Hindi. Suddenly after Hindi dialogues for so many years if I say dialogues in English, it would look a bit weird. I'm very happy here. In Hollywood, people work extremely hard but we don't need to work that hard here. I'll have to establish respect again and when I'm already receiving so much respect here then why? We work for respect; it's taken so many years to earn respect here; so I don't see any point.''

Jackie Chan also declined Stallone's offer due to schedule restrictions. According to the martial arts star, if he will join the movie, he wants to do it full time and does not want a cameo. He said that with his current schedule, he said he just wouldn't have the time.

Fans need not worry about these let downs though because with a $100 million budget, Stallone will definitely get more action stars to join his cause. Two WWE superstars, namely Hulk Hogan and Dwayne the Rock Johnson have already shown their intent to join the cast as the bad guys.

Interestingly enough, with the success of the franchise, Christian Today reports that Millennium Films plans to create an all-female version of the action film called "ExpendaBelles." The report says some actresses who are being tapped to join the movie are Mila Jovovich, Cameron Diaz and Meryl Streep.

With filming scheduled to start in 2016, there could still be a lot of changes in the cast of 'The Expendables 4'. The movie is set to be released sometime in 2017 and Stallone himself said that fans will be satisfied because their bringing back the violence.
