‘Law and Order SVU’ Season 17 Episode 8: Non-stop buzzing over missing people; All heightened emotions

Nothing is more devastating than losing the people that are valued the most and in the upcoming scenes 'Law & Order: SVU' Season 17 Episode 8, there will be a non-stop fuss over the missing people and the heroes tries to save the day with their heightened emotions.

The episodes of 'Law & Order: SVU' Season 17 Episode 8 are promising than the previous episodes combined. Movie News Guide reports, "Olivia Benson will have the greatest fright of her life in the NBC's police-procedure drama series which is titled 'Melancholy Pursuit' and the story is about following the traces of a missing girl."

The same post focused on how the police department will try to race against time and enemies to save the missing child. The Christian Post mentioned, "The story goes around a lieutenant who is spending a fun and quality time with what she calls the most important in her life in a playground, while she was engaging in a deep conversation, Benson played by Mariska Hargitay, noticed that her son Noah is nowhere in sight."

The same post also teased that the viewers will get to see more of the Special Victims Unit's newcomer Sgt. Dodds and this time around, he will handle a case concerning the disappearance of a missing girl. In this episode, Dodds will be portraying a different character and will emerge as a different person that the crew and the fans have never seen the side of.

Carter Matt also hinted that the greenhorn's all-out effort to make a name for himself and impress his new superior might bring a toll to himself and perhaps the emotionally charged case aforementioned could be the trigger of his major breakdown.

There is still much more that the upcoming episodes has to offer and the fans would not wait long since "Law & Order: SVU" Season 17 Episode 8 "Melancholy Pursuit" will air this Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
