The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update that comes simple yet boasts useful features has been rolled out first with the Nexus devices. Now, LG is also about to release this update with some of its devices.

According to Yibada, the first Nexus devices that were able to acquire the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update were the Nexus 5, 6, 7, 9 and the Nexus Player. In addition, its forthcoming Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones will also arrive with pre-installed Android 6.0. Google has started rolling out the Android 6.0 updates to the Android One series as well.

On the other hand, the LG G series, including  LG G2, G3, G4 G Flex 2 that are connected to Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint were reported  to receive the latest mobile Operating System Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Neuro Gadget noted.

The first non-Nexus device to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update was slated for the LG G4. However, the release of this update for the aforementioned LG device has been delayed due to some conflicts.

Nevertheless, those issues that have caused the delay are reported already fixed now. Therefore, it is said that the LG G4 devices should start to acquire this update in Europe during Q1 of 2016. As for Asia and North America, it would just be a matter of time until this update hits these areas.

If these rumors are to be believed, then the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be released to the LG G4 before February 2016.  After this, the LG G2, G3 or G Flex2 are expected to follow this immediately.

A report from Tech Radar noted that the latest mobile Operating System Android Marshmallow brings battery life improvements, standardized support for fingerprint scanners, greater app permission controls as well as more granular volume controls. In addition, this new update will also include USB-C support and new Google Now features are entirely part of a mix which makes the users  be excited of getting this new  upgrade.

As of Nov. 6, the latest Android OS has gained a superior adoption rate compared to previous Android Lollipop, with Android 6.0 Marshmallow which now claims that there is already 0.3 percent of all Android devices adopted this update. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been made to offer effective, modest, and natural user interface for millions of users.
