While "Assassin's Creed" video game is being transitioned into a movie, the famous video game "Call of Duty" movie adaptation has been announced recently. Now, the Activision Blizzard has reportedly built their own studio for the movie production and adaptation of their games.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed through an interview with CEO Bobby Kotick that they have formed their own studio. The new studio will be headed by Nick van Dyk. While they strengthen the foundation of their newly formed studio, Activision is slowly and cautiously pushing to the Hollywood. However, when asked about the upcoming "Call of Duty" movie production, van Dyk admitted that they will be teaming up with other distributors.

"A large theatrical presence for certain franchises makes sense," he said. "I'm not saying we're going to do that, but it gives us a phenomenal position from which to engage in partnership conversations with traditional distributors."

According to IGN, the "Call of Duty" movie adaptation will be the first franchise which was called "a robust cinematic universe". Additionally, the film was reported to be a series film and the studio might as well produce a TV adaptation series.

Furthermore, Yahoo Movie has noted that the "Call of Duty" movie adaptation might be released somewhere between 2018 or 2019. As early as now, the studio are still keeping the details under wraps after the announcement of a film adaptation.

Remarkably, the video game has earned $10 billion with over 175 million copies sold. With the financial success of the game, fans now believe that this is the right time for the game to be turned into a movie. Moreover, the Activision believes that the "Call of Duty" movie adaptation will also gain so much attention from the moviegoers just like it gained fans on the video game.

However, sources say some analysts are doubtful about the probable financial success of the project. What do you think of a "Call of Duty" movie adaptation?
