Most fans know that Blizzard would definitely acquire boatloads of money if they were to release "Warcraft 4" and "StartCraft 3." Nevertheless, at Blizzcon, the company teased sequels to two of its biggest franchises ever. However, as for the possibility of making these games a reality, lead developer Tim Morten admitted that it all depends what the players want.

According to TweakTown, not only did Blizzard release the full trailer to the upcoming "Warcraft" movie, the studio also unveiled sequels to two of its popular franchises - namely, "Warcraft 4" and "StarCraft 3." During the event, the Los Angeles-based video game company also announced the next chapter for the "StarCraft" story, which is believed to be released next year.

It is worth noting that earlier this year Blizzard admitted the possibility of "StarCraft 3" and "Warcraft 4." However, as reported by GameSpot, lead developer Tim Morten explained that it all largely depends on what the franchises' fans would want. Morten stated that the studio's focus is on the contents and that what the coming days hold "depends so much on what we hear back from players." He even reportedly expressed just how remarkable the "StarCraft" universe is while "Warcraft," particularly, surely "has more stories that can be told."

Reports have it that the reason behind Blizzard's reluctance to move forward with both "StarCraft 3" and "Warcraft 4" is the fact that players just don't want to end the story. They are believed to be enjoying the campaign style content and that they would instead desire to see more of it from Blizzard.

In related news, USGamer reported that Blizzard is looking to take the journey towards remastering "StrarCraft," "Warcraft 3," and "Diablo 2." In fact, there's reportedly a recent job posting from the studio that claims to be looking for a senior software engineer for the classic games. Due to this, many speculated that Blizzard might just aim their focus toward the original installments instead of moving forward with "StarCraft 3" and "Warcraft 4." Nonetheless, as what reports suggest, these are all but speculations and that "Blizzard is known for their surprising elements.

Well, fans are undoubtedly looking forward to the day that Blizzard releases "StarCraft 3" and "Warcraft 4." From there, what the future holds for the franchises will remain to be a mystery.
