Nintendo NX has no confirmation yet from the Japanese video game company. However, Electronic Arts is reportedly looking into opportunities for the rumored console.

The previous rumors and speculations were about some of the supposed to be confirmed games for the console. One problem that Nintendo might have is that there might only be a few games on its launch.

Fortunately, EA is reportedly considering launching games for the Nintendo NX, according to Game Zone. This may grab the attention of some gamers that would otherwise find the console uninteresting.

Nintendo has always maintained the family-friendly image not only with its games, but also with its consoles. There are only a few violent games on their consoles and those that are violent doesn't really show much, including the gore.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson was asked if they were going to release a game from popular franchises such as FIFA and Battlefield, according to UberGizmo. Wilson responded that the possibility will be explored further.

Wilson said: "As it relates to Nintendo, we've had a tremendous relationship with them over the years, and we will evaluate any and all opportunities with them in the same way we do all platform opportunities."

In addition, Wilson said that they are evaluating the resource allocation with regards to their investment to various gaming platforms, according to Gaming Bolt. EA wants to explore more opportunities besides the rumored console.

Nintendo hasn't commented on the issue yet. The company's secrecy regarding the project has been unsettling for some. It could make or break their console sales, considering that the Wii and the newer Wii U consoles did not really sell well.

The company has often been shadowed by the two video game console giants: Microsoft and Sony who both have the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. While there are no new consoles announced for next year, Sony will be releasing the PlayStation VR.

EA's interest for the Nintendo NX may result in more video game titles for the console upon launch. If all goes well, the console might even outsell the Wii-U.
