Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert prove how two people can be good friends even after a divorce. The two are about to make their first public appearance since the announcement that they are going to get divorced.

Just recently, the Country Music Association announced some of the famous country singers will be performing at the upcoming CMA Awards and that includes divorced couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. According to Entertainment News Online, in an interview earlier this month, Shelton says that he is in a good place now. He says he wasn't doing really well at the start but he is now. He explains that he has many good things happening in his life already and he loves it. Lambert also seems to be enjoying the single life as well. They show that they are now individually happy living their separate lives, 3 months after they announced their divorce.

US Magazine reports that due to the existence of a prenup between the couple, they are allowed to divide their assets accordingly. The 39-year-old singer kept their home in Oklahoma and Lambert got their property in Nashville. Lambert shared how her life was changed when she moved to Nashville, which is the country music capital. The singer said at the Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony that "I've never felt more inspired".

As Lambert enjoys her single life and decides she wants to stay single for a while before getting into a new relationship, Blake has recently been allegedly linked to dating his co-star on "The Voice" Gwen Stefani, Hollywood Life reported. The two are reportedly flirting playfully but Blake insists they are just friends. Blake insists he is merely enjoying his single life for now, but doesn't confirm to be dating anyone as of the moment, but Miranda says she just wants Blake to be happy.

The couple have learned to be civil already with regards to their status, as they both decide to stay friends after the divorce. They are going to be seen on air at the CMA Awards on November 4, 2015, on ABC.
