It was announced early last summer that Neve Campbell will be joining the cast of "House of Cards" Season 4. However, very little was known about her role during that time but lately, new details have been coming out that reveal some interesting details. Aside from Neve's role, several juicy details about the season have also come out.

According to Christian Post, EP Beau Willimon shared that Campbell will play a power hungry woman set on reaching the top and will achieve some momentum by using Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire's (Robin Wright) damaged relationship.

Willimon also addressed the rumors that "House of Cards" Season 4 will draw parallelism with the coming US Presidential elections. Willimon said, "We're reading the same headlines that you are reading. But we're not trying to deliberately parallel what's going on in real life. It would be a fool's errand to try because we're writing the season many months before it airs. So if we did that, it would feel really old."

In view of Neve's character's threat to Frank's position and power, there is a great possibility that the power couple will reunite. As viewers very well know, Season 3 ended with Claire walking out on Frank. A report from Yibada says the couple will reunite as early as the Season 4 premiere.

There is also an unverified report that Frank and Claire will pull a publicity stunt in order to show the people that all is well in their marriage. It is said that Claire will be adopting a young girl to prove that she and Frank are still in a healthy relationship. This theory seems to have originated from a casting call for a young girl.

Meanwhile, Latin Times reports that Colm Feore has booked a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season. He will be playing a high-profile new character in the White House drama.

One of the more popular rumors going around "House of Cards" Season 4 is that Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) will finally be killed off and at the hands of Frank at that. However, there are also conflicting reports that say that without Claire, Frank will now have no one to support him but Doug.

"House of Cards" Season 4 is rumored to be released in time for next year's presidential elections. However, Netflix has always premiered its first three seasons in February. It is then most likely that the series will return in early 2016.
