Several mysterious flying objects all over the world have been captured through video footage in recent months. One of the earliest reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) can be dated back to 214 BCE in Rome. These are often described as "ships in the sky", "bright moving objects" as well as "shiny saucers".

One report from the Daily Mail revealed that researchers at the Mutual UFO Network for investigation continue to determine the flying object spotted off the coast of Long Island in New York. Last April, a man submitted footage of a boomerang-shaped vehicle that whizzed by across the sky at around 10:30 PM somewhere along Port Jefferson.

The witness wrote on the report, "When I looked to my left, I noticed red and blue lights hovering. I stopped and watched for a little bit to see if it was just someone playing with a toy... Then the object went higher into the air and started to move pretty fast. I then took out my phone and started to record for as long as I could till my phone died."

Another report from the Metro revealed that a different UFO was spotted hovering over Sao Paolo, Brazil last June 14, 2015. The object, captured on a Nikon P600 zoomed 60 times, looked to be a gigantic pyramid. Scott Waring of UFO Sightings Daily said, "This shape of UFO has been recorded before in the past. For example, in Oct 5, 1996 a pilot over Pelotas, Brazil recorded a similar bronze pyramid shape in the sky and even flew around it as some smaller UFOs came out its top."

One of the most recent reports was dated October 14, 2015. According to Yahoo! News, the UFO that appeared over Melbourne in Australia was captured by Peter Slattery. The man reportedly noticed what looked to be a kite-like entity in the sky that was moving fast through the clouds.

The disc-like UFO featured on the image was described to emanate an unusual light. Slattery claimed that this was not the first time he filmed mysterious flying things over the area. He had photographs from the past three years as well showing strange objects in the sky.

The list of reports by eyewitnesses continues to grow each year. In 2014 alone, there had been numerous reported cases worldwide including from Afghanistan, Eastern Canada, Russia and Germany.
