Amazon-backed Anthropic, the AI startup behind Claude, recently revealed its enterprise offering and iPhone app. According to CNBC, this move is in line with their aim to compete with industry giants like OpenAI's ChatGPT.

New Features To Compete with OpenAI's ChatGPT

The new business plan, named Team, was developed after beta-testing with 30 to 50 clients across various sectors. This tier responds to the growing demand for dedicated enterprise solutions.

Priced at $30 per user per month, the Team plan offers enhanced features like longer conversation windows and document processing capabilities.

Anthropic also introduced its first iOS app, allowing users to sync with web chats and upload files from their smartphones, with plans for an Android version in the pipeline.

These announcements follow the recent debut of Claude 3, Anthropic's suite of AI models, which the company claims outperforms competitors like OpenAI's GPT-4 and Google's Gemini Ultra.

What Claude 3 Can Do

Similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT, Claude is a chatbot developed by Anthropic. It uses generative artificial intelligence to engage in conversations with users. 

The latest Claude 3 can summarize large datasets, and users can receive concise summaries in various formats. It is also described as Anthropic's fastest and most potent AI model yet, outperforming previous versions and competing models like OpenAI's GPT-4 and Google's Gemini Ultra on industry benchmark tests. 

Unlike ChatGPT, Claude 3 can handle different types of unstructured data, including photos, charts, and documents, for analysis and providing answers.

While as impressive as OpenAI, ongoing concerns remain about how it may perpetuate biases. In response, Anthropic are establishing strict rules, such as not allowing their AI models to be used for creating weapons or military-related activities.
