Elon Musk Eyes 'Boring Company' To Reduce Traffic Via Underground Tunnels
A startup is getting ready to launch a ride-sharing app that could compete against Uber. The startup claimed that they would aim to form a better relationship with drivers and pay the drivers better with lower commission. As for now, the company is still gathering data, with the help of Uber drivers paid $25 per week to carry Juno devices while doing their job.
A $2 million study relieves Uber of the blame of adding to New York traffic congestion. The study basically refutes the allegations made by Mayor de Blasio, and throws up several more findings which hints at commercial car industry needing sweeping reforms.
The largest community-based traffic app, Waze, had updated its features after three years. As Google had bought the app, the company said it will soon roll out on Android devices too.
