LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, a French luxury fashion conglomerate was reported to have hired a new chief digital officer from Apple, reported by The Wall Street Journal.

L'Oreal CEO Jean-Paul Agon said that the company would be ready to buy Nestle's stake in the company which was valued at EUR22 billion.
L'Oreal's planned expansion into China's beauty markets had been burdened with complications as the country mandates animal testing for every new product introduced to Chinese consumers.
L'Oreal puts in an offer to buy Magic Holdings Ltd for US$840 million.
