New York, US-based matchmaking startup The Dating Ring has launched a $10,000 crowdfunding campaign on Crowdtilt to fly single women to San Francisco and single men to New York for a cross-country date.

San Francisco, California-based crowdfunding firm Crowdtilt launched an open source crowdfunding solution called Crowdtilt n that supports Bitcoin and allows anyone to start a campaign on their own websites.
The Jamaican bobsled team, which last competed in the Winter Olympics in 2002, is using crowdfunding to raise funds that will allow them to compete in this year's Winter Olympics, ABC News reported.
Crowdtilt, a San Francisco, California-based crowdfunding platform, secured $23 million for its Series B funding in a round led by Andreessen Horowitz and was participated by venture capitalists and angel investors.
