Sources told Bloomberg that CT Corp, a diversified holding company based in Indonesia, has hired 13 lenders to market a syndicated loan worth $1.275 billion.

Spanish food retailer DIA on Monday said that it is negotiating a possible purchase of supermarket chain El Arbol for €100 million. If the deal goes through, DIA will be the third-biggest grocer in Spain next to Mercadona and Carrefour.
French retailer Carrefour agreed to acquire a total of 27 shopping malls in Europe worth €2 billion or $2.75 billion from Klepierre, a Bloomberg report said.
Majid Al Futtaim Holding, the Gulf region's exclusive franchisee for Carrefour, is pulling out of Egypt and Syria.
Carrefour posted improved profits in the first half of 2013 despite discontinuing a number of operations.
Carrefour, the second largest retailer in Europe planned a sale on its China and Taiwan businesses.
