The families who tragically lost loved ones in the two Boeing 737 MAX crashes have been engaged in a determined legal battle against the aircraft manufacturer.

Boeing revises its 2024 earnings outlook downwards as it plans to increase cash spending in the first quarter to address quality issues with its 737 aircraft, leading to a departure from the initial $10 billion estimate.

Boeing is now facing renewed regulatory scrutiny following a mid-air blowout involving one of its Boeing 737 Max 9 jets.

Boeing has announced reducing production during 2016. The news has caused US Aerospace Share prices to go down by 9% on Wednesday, which has regained a little on Thursday. The production cut is not due to tattering financial condition of the aircraft manufacturer, but it is related to a transforming strategy. Still the manufacturer holds orders for delivery of around 6,000 aircraft, which represents a different tale.

French-based plane manufacturer, Airbus Group will officially open its second single-aisle aircraft facility outside of Europe after China next Monday. The $600 million plant located in Mobile, Alabama is said to be the world's most efficient plant and is officially known as the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility. The new facility is set to rival Boeing production in an effort by Airbus to grow their presence and grab more share of the $80 billion industry.
