California-based live online English school Colingo raised USD2.4 million in a seed funding round led by Atlas Ventures, according to the company's founder, Ben Lowenstein.
Massachussetts-based TV advertising platform Clypd raised USD7.2 million in Series A-1 funding from Atlas Ventures, Freestyle Capital, Boston Seed Capital, and angel investors John Battelle and Brightcove.
In an Upstart Business Journal report, Atlas Venture partner Jeff Fagnan endorsed startup investing network AngelList to Boston companies to increase venture capital investments in the area.
