Al Waha Capital, AerCap's largest shareholder with a 26.3% stake, is in favor of the Dutch aircraft leasing company's $5.4 billion acquisition of International Finance Corp. ILFC is owned by American International Group.

Sources said that American International Group is close to a deal to make its exit from International Lease Finance Corp. to Netherlands' AerCap Holdings NV. Under the deal, AIG will reportedly receive $3 billion in cash and $2.4 billion in stock.
The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported on Friday including ITC Holdings, Dave & Buster, Time Warner Cable, Banca Etruria, Cube Capital, Cargolux, Simon Property and Versace.
American International Group is said to be negotiating the sale of International Lease Finance Corp. to Netherlands-based independent aircraft lessor AerCap Holdings NV. In December 2012, AIG agreed to sell as much as 90% stake in ILFC to a Chinese consortium for $4.7 billion.
