Shailene Woodley and Theo James will be returning as Beatrice "Tris" Prior and Tobias "Four" Eaton for the much anticipated final installment of the hit Veronica Roth's young-adult series, Divergent. Officially entitled, Divergent: Allegiant, first part of the two-part sequel is set for release on March 18, 2016.

According to the latest Divergent: Allegiant Movie Reports, two veteran actors will be joining the stellar cast as the film's new villains. Jeanine Matthews played by Kate Winslet was shot in the back and killed by Evelyn Johnson-Eaton (Naomi Watts) in Insurgent. The former Erudite leader had met her fate after losing control of the government.

There are reports that negotiations are currently in the process for Bill Skarsgard and Jeff Daniels to join the cast. These veteran actors will certainly be welcome additions to the roster of the Divergent series. Daniels will reportedly be playing the role of David, the film's main bad. David is the leader of the Bureau of Genetic Welfare, and was chiefly responsible for the post-apocalyptic faction-based society. His actions don't always work for everyone's best interest. Skarsgard, on the other hand will be filling an unspecified role, but is said to be closely working with the character of Daniels.

There are already questions that have been circulating online on whether or not the series will remain faithful to the book and keep its 'controversial ending' in which Tris, the protagonist dies after being killed by Daniels' character.

"I think they were able to consolidate with the third movie and kind of consolidate all the key elements of the book. I think it's gonna be pretty similar." Theo James said.

The film will feature the return of cast Naomi Watts, Ansel Elgort, Zoe Kravitz, and Octavia Spencer. Filming is set to begin this month.
