Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted celebrating their extended honeymoon on a boat trip in Malta with their children. Did Jolie surprise husband of an expensive, rare watch?

Hollywood's powerful couple hit the open seas with their children -- namely their eldest Maddox (13) and Pax (10), including Vivienne, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax -- and they are currently in Malta as they are filming their very own produced upcoming movie, "By The Sea", which will premiere on 2015.

"I'm happy that Hollywood producers have once again chosen Malta for their project, and we will be delighted to host Mr. Pitt, Ms. Jolie, and their family for the second time in just a few years," Prime Minister Joseph Muscat of Malta speaks up. "I'm sure that this film will help put our beautiful sister island of Gozo on the world map."

Speaking of Gozo, Jolie surprised his husband with a rare 1952 Patek Philippe platinum chronometer, which is speculated to be worth almost £2million, as reported by Mirror. The expensive gift was bought from a small shop owned by Jolie's friend.

George Farrugia, owner of the said small shop named "Dolindo Jewellers" in Gozo", admitted that it was rare and highly valuable.

"I did inscribe the watch, it was for Brad and it was a rare one," she begins. Farrugia inscripted the words "To Rolly from Nessa" -- the names refer to their characters on their upcoming film.

When she was asked if it was expensive, all she had to say was, "Oh yes, it was very valuable."

"I wasn't nervous about the inscription because I knew I could do the work perfectly."

The couple surprised everybody on their secret and simple wedding with their families (including Pitt's parents, Bill and Jane). They wedded in Chateau Miraval's chapel in France on August 23. The said total attendees were 22.
