Creating a Business Profile:

After successfully switching your account to a Business Profile, you will be able to access Instagram insights as long as you have over 100 Instagram followers. You will then be able to find out information such as how many impressions and website clicks you've received in a week, top posts, time your followers are online, gender, age-range, and top locations. All this data is great for creating more personalized content for your followers, as you will know more about them.​

Promoting Content: 

The new update now allows you to promote your content directly from the app to drive your business objectives. To do this, simply click on the content you would like to promote, underneath the content you should see "Promote" click this and then you will be given the option to choose whether you want people to:

  • Visit your Website
  • Call or visit your business

Once you've chosen what you want them to do, you will then be able to create a custom audience, set your budget and duration then push it live!
