San Francisco, US-based startup ClassDojo bagged $8.5M in its first institutional funding round to develop its mobile platform that provides an easier way of managing and monitoring the behavior of students inside the classroom.
Venice, US-based brand and content management software maker ZEFR pocketed $30 million in a Series D financing round led by Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) for its international expansion and product development.
CloudPassage, a San Francisco-based cloud security provider that aims to keep the bad guys out of clouds, has raised $25.5 million for its new financing round led by Shasta Ventures, VentureBeat reported.
TigerText, a real-time messaging provider for the enterprise, has closed its Series B round led by Shasta Ventures with $21 million. New and existing investors also participated in the financing.
San Francisco-based mobile security company Mocana has received $15 million from a funding round led by GE Ventures, to build out the company’s products that prevent hacking of Wi-Fi-enabled objects.
Referral marketing platform Extole has gathered USD 5 million from Norwest Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Shasta Venture and Trident Capital. It also added Mark Cyster and Chris Duskin to its executive team.
Volometrix Concludes Series A Financing totalling US$3.3 million with US$1.6 million coming from Shasta Ventures.
