Xiaomi has recently released the latest family member of Xiaomi Mi4, the Xiaomi Mi4c. The Mi4c is priced at $240 but the device does not reportedly compromise the quality of the handset.

The Tech Gadget Central cited the powerful specs that Xiaomi Mi4c sports. This handset is armored with a 5-inch, 1080p IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display, with approximately 441 ppi pixel density. It is engineered with a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset and feature a quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53 and a dual-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU.

The Xiaomi Mi4c runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop making the device a tough to beat competitor for other high-end smartphones on the market as of now and this gadget is possible to receive the Android Marshmallow update soon.  As for the memory section, the more affordable Mi4c includes 16 GB storage and 2 GB ROM, while the more expensive version has 32 GB internal storage and 3 GB ROM. Both of which are not capable of memory expansion via microSD.

Gizmochina further added that Xiaomi Mi4c sports a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera that can produce good looking daylight images as they look sharp, detailed, contrast, colors and even dynamic range are usually handled well. As for the front-facing camera, this device is armed with a 5 megapixel selfie snapper that does a great job for social media needs under a good lighting condition.

Moreover, GeekSnack stated that the newest family member of Xiaomi Mi4, has two variants one with 16 GB internal storage for $240, and the 32 GB variant instead, which costs only $40 more.

Xiaomi has proved in the last two years that affordable smartphones don't have to be of poor quality or filled with trade-offs. And as the company released the Xiaomi Mi4C, it is another proof that the Chinese tech giant can produce affordable smartphones without compromising its specifications and features.
