Samsung is expected to release a new smartphone, the Galaxy S7, in late February or early March of next year. The South Korean giant is believed to produce a device that has a dual-camera approach and a magnesium alloy unibody design.

As early as now, rumors are beginning to circulate around the world of Internet about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7. Even if this smartphone is set to be unveiled in early 2016, it is never too early to discuss something about it. According to some speculations, Samsung might introduce two Galaxy devices - Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7+.

The Galaxy S7 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, dual-camera setup with 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, 4K resolution, 64GB internal storage, and be powered by either a Snapdragon 820 SoC or Exynos M1 chipset.

Apparently, it will also come with a magnesium alloy unibody design. This information was leaked from several insider sources, which was then circulated all over the Internet.

Recently, Samsung has reportedly received magnesium alloy case samples by the firm that made 6013 series aluminum metal frame for its Galaxy S6 smartphones. In addition, the South Korean tech giant is rumored to utilize the magnesium alloy, which is tougher to bend and at the same time lighter when compared to alumimum alloys. Thus, this could be the build material that would help Samsung get rid of the durability issues and make its handsets lighter.

Earlier this week, Steve Hemmerstoffer, a tech blogger, revealed an AnTuTu benchmark that listed a Samsung device, which is dubbed as "Project Lucky." Hence, it is widely believed that this, indeed, is the Galaxy S7.

Unfortunately, Samsung has not confirmed anything about its upcoming device yet. Nevertheless, the company will give confirmed details about the release of the Galaxy S7 any time soon.
