Rumors about the new version of Android, the Android 6.0 or Marshmallow, are consistently bugging the minds of both smartphone and tablet users. Some of the nagging questions include: When will be the release? What to expect with Android 6.0? Which device will be the first to use this latest version?

The Marshmallow is expected to be released next month, as reported by Pocket-lint. It is said to follow the release of the latest Nexus devices.

A lot of good things are to be expected with the Marshmallow version. Recombu shared some of these improvements that we will see in this update. It includes a much improved power saver, less network hogging which means any application that you haven't used actively in a while will lose network privileges but will regain network access once you reload. Users will have greater control over applications, there will be more improved support for fingerprint scanners, a Visual Voicemail, Android Pay, and lastly a better status bar in which you can now remove icons such as flashlight and airplane mode that you never use.

Nexus devices were believed to be the first ones to use Android Marshmallow, as reported by the International Business Times. Android M is expected to unveil together with the upcoming LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6 as announced at a Google I/O event held last June.

Google Nexus 5 from 2013 and the Nexus 6 which hit the market last year will be some of the pioneer phones to also have the Android 6.0. A preview for this update is also available to Nexus devices such as Motorola Nexus 6, LG Nexus 5, HTC Nexus 9 and the Asus Nexus Player.
