Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were reportedly engaged in private. However, their engagement news was overshadowed with speculations involving Stone and co-star Ryan Gosling's closeness. Gosling's partner, Eva Mendes also reportedly sent Stone a message asking her to back off from her man.

The exciting announcement of the adorable couple's engagement had been allegedly postponed as it was overshadowed by nasty reports pointing out Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling's closeness.  Rumors claimed that the actress and Gosling are getting too close on the set of their latest movie "La La Land".

The couple's fans felt happy for a short time as they were spotted hanging out together after the couple was rumored to have ended their relationship. While fans adore every photo of the couple online, recent reports claimed that Stone and Garfield are headed for another split. Only this time, it's because of her co- star Ryan Gosling.

According to Inquisitr, Stone and Gosling were caught coming to their set together, leading to rumors that there is something more going on between the two "La La Land" lead stars. And now, that both stars are working together for the upcoming movie, speculations about their secret romance was heating up, especially because both Stone and Gosling were allegedly very vocal about their feelings for each other.

But for now, the "Spiderman" couple's relationship is hard to predict because they have kept things laid back.  Both were very secretive when it comes to their personal lives. In fact, Stone told Wall Street Journal Magazine, "It's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it. There's probably some rebelliousness that comes out in me after all these stories and people texting you for weeks about something that, for the most part, is not true."

Recent reports also mentioned that Stone and Gosling were also seen goofing around outside a theater in between their takes in Burbank. And despite all the engagement rumors, the two are said to may just be staying sweet for fans, but might have headed for friends zone afterwards.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling's partner, Eva Mendes has seemingly sent the actress with a message asking her to stay away from her beau, National Enquirer claimed. "Eva's not taking any chances, especially after hearing Emma and her boyfriend Andrew are going through a rough patch," told the source close to the couple.

Although, there was no confirmation that Stone and Garfield were engaged shortly, then later on, split up again, their die- hard shippers are still very hopeful that the two finally sort their relationship out. And for now, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendez remained silent regarding Gosling's closeness to his co- star.
