Despite the darkness that will surround the fifth season of "Once Upon A Time," good things are still yet to come. The the rescue mission for Emma, which will commence on the season 5 premiere, will pave the way for platonic and non-platonic relationships among the characters to develop.

The favorite fairy tale characters will be bombarded with many struggles when the ABC hit fantasy series returns this September. The Charmings, played by Josh Dallas and Snow White will have to face major decisions for Jennifer Morrison's character, International Business Times reported.

Prince Charming aka David Nolan and Snow White aka Mary Margaret Blanchard will do whatever it takes to bring their daughter back to the point that they will be willing to cross the lines in order to save Emma.

However, as their struggle intensifies, a bromance will be developed between Charming and Camelot, which will be played by Liam Garrigan. Josh Dallas previously hinted that King Arthur will play a huge part in his life, sparking speculations that Garrigan's character will help in the Rescue Emma mission.

Aside from the Camelot-Charming team up, the site also reported that Emma's son, Henry Daniel Mills, played by Jared Gilmore, might get a love interest in next season, teased executive producer Edward Kitsis.

"He's an awkward, young child. Like all 13-year-old boys, they have to navigate their way through the minefield of first dating," Kitsis said.

Meanwhile, Emilie de Ravin, Belle in the series, dishes on Entertainment Tonight the possibility of Rumple and Belle's relationship to bloom on the next season of "Once Upon A Time."

"I think it's going to be exciting to see their relationship like we've never seen it before," de Ravin said.

She added, "She's never been at this place in her life and never been in such a strong position, and he's never been unaffected or unconscious like he is now."

Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin O'Donoghue, and the other cast members will grace the small screen once again when "Once Upon A Time" season 5 opener drops this fall, which will see a not so dark Emma Swan yet.

The new season of ABC's hit series will not just focus on the mission to save the former Savior but will also see the development of new relationships among the other fairy tale characters.

"Once Upon A Time" season 5 is slated to air Sunday, September 27 on ABC.
