Dr. Temperance Brennan and Agent Seeley Booth are returning to the Jeffersonian for Bones season 11 after leaving their jobs and moving to a new town to start their life together as a family. A mysterious and intriguing murder case forces the duo to return to their old lives and back to the Jeffersonian as well as get back with the rest of the team in order to solve the case.

Stephen Nathan, the executive producer of the crime drama series, said that Bones season 11 will be an interesting and fun sort of reunion for the both the characters and the entire cast as they will once again be working together on yet another grisly murder case. Vine Report added that Nathan's plans for season 11 will involve a storyline that will feature the reconciliation of the characters and how they deal with once again having to work with each other.

Nathan also mentioned how the writers and producers are working on the time jump scheme they applied for season 11's storyline which will prove to be quite interesting since the characters will be most likely at various personal moments of their lives already. It is also important to note that Brennan and Booth's break from the crime scene will affect greatly how they handle this new case as they will be approaching it with a fresher and newer perspective.

Despite this reunion, MNR Daily mentioned how another change in Booth and Brennan's life could possibly greatly affect their relationship, causing some undesirable negative tension between the two. In fact, the show's producers have further revealed even how the first episode of Bones season 11 will involve some trust issues and dishonesty among the characters.

Another exciting plotline for Bones season 11 which fans can look forward to is a possible crossover with another popular series. According to Unreality TV, the network distributor for Bones, FOX Network, has confirmed a crossover episode for the crime drama with another FOX series, the supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow. Despite reports of FOX's plans for this series crossover, the respective writers and producers of the shows have not revealed any solid plans for a Bones-Sleepy Hollow crossover episode.  

Bones season 11 will premiere on FOX this October 1.
