Despite the success in her career as an actress, Emma Watson feels she does not deserve all this, saying that she is an imposter. The young actress meanwhile has felt at peace after speaking in front of UN officials about feminism.

Emma Watson, 25, revealed recently that she is not that confident with the success she is receiving. Watson made her debut as an actress in her early teens as the miss-know-it-all Hermione in the "Harry Potter" movie series. The British actress has been offered roles in various movies since then and just recently, she became the United Nation's Ambassador of Goodwill where her speech about gender equality in front of officials was praised recently. Among Watson's films include "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", "This is the End" and "Noah" and the upcoming "Beauty and the Beast" live-action. However, Watson admits she never felt comfortable acting.

The Telegraph describes this as an imposter syndrome where some people feel that they are just pretending to do a certain job and will not last in it. The imposter syndrome, which was studied since the 70's, commonly occurs in women who are successful in their respective careers but actually do not have enough confidence. Some of the tips to remember to avoid the said syndrome is by not comparing oneself to others, writing one's accomplishments, believing that luck exists but it also goes with talent and hardwork, and just not minding what your mind is telling you.

Watson, who recently graduated from Brown University however says she found peace and purpose in life after giving a speech for HeForShe, a campaign she is pushing as an UN Ambassador of Goodwill. This despite being nervous the night before her speech, reports Vanity Fair.

Express adds that Watson is more comfortable in her latest advocacy but it does not mean that she would give up her acting career.

Aside from Emma Watson, some of the personalities known to have imposter syndrome are comedienne Tina Fey, actress Michelle Pfeiffer and poet Maya Angelou.
