The American crime comedy-drama television series, iZombie, developed by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright, is set to premiere for its Season 2 on 06 October 2015. Will Liv have a new love interest or she will just endure her zombie life single?

With the announcement of the premiere of the Season 2 of iZombie, The CW broadcasts a teaser trailer of the series for its second season. You can watch the teaser here. Season 2 will highlight Liv Moore's battle over her undead survival instincts versus her family's. But a more interesting and different angle fans are anticipating from Liv is the status of her zombie heart.

Executive producer Rob Thomas admitted he was astonished with fans' response on Lowell Tracy's death on season one. Lowell Tracy, the handsome musician from Merlin Liv met from the sky diving case, has been received well by fans as Liv's zombie boyfriend.

Bradley James played Lowell Tracy is regarded as one of the lead male characters of the series. Many expressed disappointments in different social media sites when Blaine murdered with a gun on Lowell's head, which basically ended his story in the show.

According to Thomas in an interview with Franchise Herald, Veronica Mars did not draw as much attention whenever a character dies. The overwhelming negative reaction on Lowell's death brings in a question from the fans. Will there be another Lowell on iZombie Season 2?

The answer Thomas gave in an interview with io9 might dishearten fans even more. Season 2 will be about Liv contemplating on herself while Blaine and Major who have been injected with the zombie antidote by Liv will be experiencing side effects from the preliminary antidote.

Ravi, on the other hand, will spend more time perfecting the antidote. Another thing to watch out for is Max Rager's decision to wipe out all zombies in Seattle, as part of their money making scheme.

Viewers will also find out in iZombie Season 2 if Blaine and Liz will become friends or continue to enemies, after Liz injected Blaine with the antidote.
