Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes to its final stretch and brings in the most exciting update for most Android devices, including LG G4, G3, G2, G Pro 2, G Pro and G Flex 2.

LG G devices are reported to yet experience what the latest Android Lollipop has to offer in not more than a month as mobile carriers started out ironing kinks out as evidenced in OS tracking. Although many LG G devices are yet to receive Android Lollipop starters like 5.0, 5.1, 5.0.1, and 5.0.2, tech experts believe that 5.1.1 is scenting on the ground preparing to hit these devices.

G4, the latest flagship device of LG mobile, is first reported to run Android 5.1.1 among its kinds. G4 currently runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop firmware.

Previous flagship smartphones G3 and G2 are also slated to come ditch its Android 5.0 operating system in a matter of time. A leaked image shows G2's current OS standing while revealing that 5.1.1 update is "in progress."

However, G3 and G2 units purchased in Canada seems to have a blurry vision of Android 5.1.1. Just recently, G Pro 2 and G Pro are also stuck with 5.0 Lollipop in Europe. It remains unannounced whether 5.1 will still hit the devices or they would also jump straight to 5.1.1.

LG is known to be skipping Android updates. Most of its smartphones and tablets ran over KitKat versions including 4.4, 4.4.1, 4.4.3 and 4.4.4. In another news, tech experts also look into the possibility that LG might also be heading over directly to Android M. However, nothing is officially announced yet.

Meanwhile, G3 seems to be pointing fast towards 5.1.1 Lollipop because of its current performance with Android 5.0. Reportedly, users have experienced several errors and glitches with its current OS.

In South Korea, G Flex 2 users are now enjoying the new features and improvements brought by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

In the U.S., Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T are still running 5.0 Lollipop in their G3 devices.
