'The Bastard Executioner' Update: New FX Series' Pilot Episode Could Be Shown During San Diego Comic Con

"The Bastard Executioner" will reportedly be shown during the San Diego Comic Con 2015 as the new FX series' first episode could be debuted during the said event. FX network will be showing a lot of teaser videos for their current and upcoming shows in order to stand out in the annual event.

In a report by Carter Matt, the network already teamed up with Martin Ansen to promote the shows such as "Fargo," "Archer," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "American Horror Story: Hotel," "The Strain," "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll," and "The Bastard Executioner." The publication shared that the shows' cards will be available at the FX Fearless Arena during the 2015 San Diego Comic Con, which will be at the Hilton Bayfront Park. The Comic Con will be from July 9-12 so expect to see the FX Fearless Arena the entire time that the Comic Con will be taking place.

"The Bastard Executioner" was produced by Kurt Sutter and it is scheduled to be hitting the small screens this fall. For its first season, it will be having ten episodes, IBTimes reported. As per the official Facebook page of the show, photos of the star of the show, Wilkin Brattle, played by Lee Jones, has been uploaded and a lot of people are expecting to see more of him during the progress of the show.

According to the publication, the series will be focused on Brattle, who is a knight in King Edwards I's army. The plot of the series is dated during the Welsh rebellion and Brattle is said to be a tall, dark, and imposing warrior. He has been broken by the ravages of war and therefore suffers from Post-traumatic disorder.

In a report by Wales Online, Brattle swore to never pick up a weapon again but he is forced to use the sword and be in battle in order to defend the king.

Other stars to appear in "The Bastard Executioner" are Sarah Sweeny, Stephen Moyer, Katey Sagal, Brian F O'Byrne and Sutter himself.
