Persona 5 is one of the games that did not grab much attention in E3 2015, particularly because it did not reveal any new information as fans would have hoped for. All that was delivered on the title was a trailer that was already shown in Japan. Nonetheless, updates on the plot and gameplay have been announced in the title's main website. At the same time, the scheduled release date for this year is still going to push through.

The E3 trailer that was displayed for Persona 5 was also the same one that Japan received a few months ago back when it was launched. As mentioned in a report, the important message seen on the trailer would be that of the description that goes, "Coming to the Americas on PS3 and PS4 in 2015." This implies that, at least, the release date will not be delayed.

However, there is still no specific date as to when Persona 5 will actually hit stores. Fans are speculating that it would not be too far off from the coming out of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, which has a release window in the Fall season.

While there are no new details on Persona 5 divulged in E3 2015, there are some interesting reveals through the English website of the game. In terms of the story, it entails journeying with a sophomore student who moves to Tokyo at the beginning of the school year from Shujin High School. The main character later on gets involved with a group of teenagers who call themselves "phantom thief," which marks the state of their alter egos.

This sparks the start of the theme of "normal student by day, fighter by night." The main character in Persona 5 is named Arsene, whose persona is described as a "mask-like face and a huge pair of black wings."

More specific information still needs to be known about Persona 5. At least fans can rest on the fact that the Atlus RPG will still be arriving within this year as noted on the main website. Gamers should keep their eyes peeled on more announcements for the PlayStation game.
