The heartbreak just continues in 'Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage' Chapter 8 titled 'The Real Thing', as Sarada recalls poignant memories of her and Sakura - the mother she's known all her life.  Fortunately Naruto was there for Sarada, and became the 'voice of reason' that calmed her down. Sakura, meanwhile, is still nowhere near to being rescued.

Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage Chapter 7 left us with a distraught Sarada who learned the truth about her real mother.  Her pain and anger over the discovery led her to yell at Naruto, declining to help rescue Sakura. She then activates her Sharigan due to the emotional distress that she has suffered upon learning that her whole life has been a lie.

In 'Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage' Chapter 8, Naruto tried his best to placate the furious Sarada whose eyes were starting to change.  He explained that family and connections are not only built by time and blood, it is the thoughts and feeling that people have for each other that is most important. What Naruto said somewhat mollified Sarada and brought on a barrage of childhood memories. Memories that tugged at her heart, such as when Sakura looked after her while she was sick, the times when Sakura covered up for Sasuke when the Sarada was asking why her father wasn't home, and a sweet moment when Sakura gently tapped Sarada's forehead. 

These made Sarada cry all the more and helped her realize that she still wants rescue her mom.  And though Sarada is worried that things won't be the same as before, Naruto assured her that regardless what's real or fake, if Sarada feels like she wants to help, then that is the real thing.  This statement seemed to affect Sarada, fully calming her down until her eyes returned to normal.

The two went on to join Sasuke and the rest of the group. Sasuke was angry that they took so long to join them, but Naruto's response was that they need to have a talk after Sakura is rescued.  Sasuke finally located where his wife is, as each of his eyes shifted.  Apparently his Mangekyou Sharingan and Rinnegan powers have weakened since he's been looking in Kaguya's dimension which takes a lot of chakra.   Sasuke has now fully recovered, getting ready to take everyone with him and even creating a huge Susanou head. 

Meanwhile, over to where Sakura is, the injured Shin is already sitting up from the bed, explaining that his goal is to exterminate people like her.  But Sakura wasn't affected by his threats.  The chapter ended with Sakura bumping her right fist against her left hand, seemingly getting ready to fight. 

Things are starting to pick up for Naruto Gaiden Mini Series. Naruto fans over the Naruto Forums are hoping that the upcoming Naruto Gaiden Chapter 9 will show an intense battle between Sakura, Shin and his clones.  Some are also anticipating for that fight to be interrupted by Sasuke and the gang, but Sakura and Shin would have been battling for a long time already.  While other fans are thinking that the Juubimon will manage to take Sarada.

The next chapter will definitely be more exciting!  Fans can't wait for next week's chapter release of Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage.
