Avril Lavigne has been quiet since her birthday last April. There have been no interviews and live updates while she is going through her Lyme treatment. Though, she has allowed her fans to sneak a quick look on what's keeping her from time to time in her verified Facebook account.

In June 12^th, Avril Lavigne has posted in her Facebook account two pictures of her medicines and herself. She seems to be in good shape and has displayed a good fighting spirit while on treatment. Along with those 2 pictures she said she was excited to have come that far with her treatment. It has been 6 months of fighting and killing. She also appreciated her doctors that God gave her, who are taking care of her, though names were not mentioned. She felt like a champion as she powered through the treatment with all those medicines prescribed. She also encouraged her readers to be careful with ticks wherever they maybe and to educate themselves about the disease and other infections. She added that not all doctors are knowledgeable of the world Lyme, so it is better to do one's own research, then she ended her caption with F**K Lyme.

Though Avril Lavigne is considered MIA in the music scene but MTV news has recently published an article entitled "15 Avril Lavigne Lyrics That GOT YOU When You Were A Kid". This simply shows that she was never really out in the music scene. In this article, a list of 15 lines taken from the lyrics of Avril's songs that hit the chart is randomly arranged. These are the lines that somehow young fans could relate themselves with. First in the list is the "You don't know me/ Don't ignore me" from the song "Unwanted, and the last in the list is "I thought you were cool until the point/ But up until the point you didn't call me/ When you said you would" from the song "Too Much To Ask".

Another issue that keeps sprouting while Avril Lavigne is on medication is about the divorce. It seems to resurface from time to time.  In March, CrossMap had reported about this rumor that Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne were getting divorce. But still there's no truth to this matter because early this June, Avril had uploaded a photo of them.

Fans can only hope for the best for Avril Lavigne and pray that she would come out from this Lyme disease freely, and in the pink.
