Taylor Swift is reportedly joining the cast of "Pitch Perfect 3." Director Elizabeth Banks confirmed that the producers are seriously thinking of doing another movie. This doesn't come off as a surprise given the box office success of the first two movies.

Fans of "Pitch Perfect" might have been disappointed when news about Anna Kendrick not reprising her role in the third movie first circulated online. In an interview with Time magazine, the 29-year-old admitted that she's not really excited about the prospect of starring in "Pitch Perfect 3."

"I'm not one to count my chickens, so I just want to see how this one does and find out if there's an appetite for that before I even think about it ," she said.

Although the release date of the film has yet to be confirmed, several fans have started speculating on what the plot would be like. Some thought that the next film will be a spin-off movie that will focus on Fat Amy's quest to make it big in Hollywood. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Rebel Wilson, herself, thought that a solo movie about her character would be "awesome."

After the Green Bay Packers guest starred in the sequel, many have started to wonder how the producers would be able to top something like that. Turns out, the cast themselves have a star in mind.

E! News reported that Anna Camp and Skylar Astin wanted Taylor Swift to be part of "Pitch Perfect 3." Camp said that the "1989" star would make a great addition to the Barden Bella.

"I think that Taylor Swift would make a great Bella. I really think she would. I think it would be an even bigger movie!" Camp said.

She added that the Barden Bella could sing "Blank Space" and have a whole "Bella girl-power movement."
