With the impending debut of the season four of the television series "Arrow," rumors are persistent to materialize as it was recently speculated that Damien Darhk might be the main villain in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, the hit The CW show is believed to air this October.

The finale episode of the "Arrow" season three ended on Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finally defeating Ra's al Ghul. Oliver and his love interest Felicity Smoak was also featured driving off the sunset as they had their brief happy ending. Malcolm Merlyn took over the Ra's al Ghul position as the new leader of the League of Assassins while Ollie's sister Thea Queen joined the team and became the new superhero Speedy.

And now that season four is forthcoming, it was speculated that Damien Darhk might be the main villain, reports TV Line (via Gospel Herald). So far, Darhk was already mentioned in the episode 21 of the third season entitled "Al Sah-him." Ra's al Ghul told Oliver that Darhk has followers from H.I.V.E. who has absconded from the League of Assassins.

Ra's recounted the moment when he had a duel with his best friend Damien Darhk who appeared opportunistic as he saw himself as the heir to be the new leader of the League. However, Darhk eventually fled. Thus, this might lead him to take revenge in the season four. No confirmation yet on who will be the new season's villain though.

Moreover, Karl Yune, who plays Maseo Yamashiro, might reprise his role as he dropped some hints during the MCM Expo's London Comic Con on what viewers can expect, Vinereport states. In a previous report by Venture Capital Post, another character that has been speculated to appear in the new season is Green Lantern. Since Oliver and Felicity's sunset runaway destination is Coast City, the hometown of the superhero, fans can't help to predict the character's guest appearance.

The official Twitter account of the writers room has confirmed that they are already in works for the script, Carter Matt reports. The cast and crew of "Arrow" are due to shoot on July in Vancouver, Canada. The first episode of the season four is believed to air on either the 7th or the 14th of October this year.
