Pokemon The Movie XY 2015 Release Update: Still no official date for United States; Latest anime episode features new characters

Pokemon The Movie XY 2015 is set to be released in Japan on July 18, 2015, but there still are no news on its release date in the United States. But according to reports, it will be later this year.

According to MovieNewsGuide, Super Hoopa, the featured Pokemon in the movie, will release six legendary Pokemons. The American title of Pokemon The Movie XY is "Hoopa and the Clash of Ages." After seeing the trailer, a lot of fans speculate that Evil Ash will be back in this film. It also shows how bigger and darker the movie will be. It will also feature the psychic alternate form of the original Pokemons.

The six characters featured in the movie are Giratina, Kyurem, Kyorge, Palka, Digla, and Groudon. They each possess their own special items and skills.  According to Yibada Hoopa Unbound will be significantly taller, bigger and heavier than the normal Hoopa.

IGN.com reports that the movie is around 70 minutes long, starring Ash Ketchum and Pikachu. In this film, the protagonist will head on a trip where they will meet the Mythical Pokemon - Hoopa. The movie is set to be aired in the United States later this year on Cartoon Network.

While you wait for the movie, Pokemon XY Anime Episode 73 can now be seen online. The episode will have Ash and his friends travelling to Laverre City, where they challenge the Gym trainer Valerie to a match. Shota is another new character introduced in this episode. Shota can be seen in the opening sequence with Alain, Olympia, Valerie, and Ramos. Fans can also get their hands on the new Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Nintendo games as they wait for the Pokemon The Movie XY 2015.

Hoopa is the 720th Pokemon to the list. Although this film will be released in Japan, fans need not worry as it can also be watched in Cartoon Network later this year.
