Universal Pictures has shown the first official trailer for the new film about the true to life story of Apple Computer founder Steve Jobs. Entitled Steve Jobs, the people behind the movie has announced it would be an improved version of the first movie Jobs in terms of script, cast and director.

FIRST LOOK

The more than one minute Steve Jobs trailer released on Sunday showed a man standing in front of an empty stage with only his back seen. There are conversations regarding the Mac. Seth Rogen voice is heard addressing the guy standing, "You can't write code, you are not an engineer. What do you do?" The man replies, "The musicians play the instruments, I play the orchestra." The man is introduced as Steve Jobs, played by Michael Fassbender, who greets a crowd in a black collared clothes similar to one of the real Steve Jobs' familiar scenes when he was still alive. Other stars of the film are shown such as Kate Winslet and Jeff Daniels.

NEW CAST

According to a report, Seth Rogen plays as Steve Wozniak, one of Apple's co-founder. Winslet is Job's close friend Joanna Hoffman, an Apple engineer, while Daniels is former Apple CEO John Sculley. Steve Jobs will be based on Walter Isaacson's biography of the American entrepreneur.

However, based on another source, the movie's script, which will be divided into three parts, will also have an input from Steve Jobs' daughter Lisa. Writer Aaron Sorkin describes her as the "heroine of the movie" because he finds Job's relationships, especially with his daughter, interesting. Jobs did not recognize Lisa during her growing up years believing she was not his own.

Compared to Jobs that starred Ashton Kutcher, Steve Jobs is seen to be better films that aside from a better script, a lot of changes have been made. This includes Universal Pictures taking over the movie from Sony and Michael Fassbender being the final Steve Jobs from a choice of Tom Cruise, Christian Bale and Leonardo de Caprio. The story will be about the iPod, Macintosh and Next Computer but the iPhone won't be included.

For Steve Jobs and Apple fanatics, Steve Jobs is just a few months away with October 9 as its targeted release date.
