"Once Upon A Time" Season 4 finale concluded with multiple twists but the biggest shock of them all is Emma Swan becoming the new Dark One as she sacrifice herself for Rumple and Regina's benefit. Before darkness full engulfed her, Swan was able to confirm her love for Hook. Will the Dark Swan drag him back to darkness next season?

All throughout its 4th season, "Once Upon A Time" teased the fans of Emma (Jennifer Morrison) joining the dark side. But it did not happen until the season's 2-part finale titled, "Operation Mongoose," where the Author turned villains into heroes.

The moment every fan of the show has been dreading happened when Emma used the dagger to sacrifice herself. But before she did this, she finally admitted to Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) that she loves him and she's confident that he and the Charmings will do everything to bring her back.

Fans' reactions towards Emma being the possible Big Baddie in "Once Upon A Time" Season 5 are varied. Some loved the change as Morrison will be given a chance to do something different with Emma while some initially thought it was a mad decision from the showrunners.

With Emma being "The Dark  One," Hook's reaction to this will be an interesting angle in "Once Upon A Time" season 5. Some are worried that Emma will push Hook away next season as he tries to save her from the darkness. Some even think that she will drag him into the dark path again. While Captain Swan shippers can't help but feel hopeless, some think that Emma will still be able to love like what Rumple did when he was the Dark One.

Aside from Emma's relationship with Hook, a lot of people will surely be affected with the huge change in her character. Josh Dallas who plays Prince Charming and parent of Jennifer Morrison's character previously said that the fifth season's antagonist will bring huge amount of stress to its fans.

"It's the unimaginable. It's the worst thing that could possibly happen. It's going to be tough for everybody. It's going to be distressing for fans," said Dallas

Regardless of all the speculations, there's a great possibility that Dark Swan will enjoy every moment of being evil in season 5, which will cause hurt to her parents, Prince Charming and Snow White, and to her son Henry.

"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 will definitely have a different face but the changes brought by the events in season 4 finale are surely going to make the next season more interesting.
