Developer Dusenberry Martin Racing announced last Friday, April 3, that NASCAR '15 is set to be released on the market this May 22, 2015. The game will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and, PC while NASCAR '16 is due to launch next year.

Disc-based retail version of NASCAR '15 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be sold exclusively at GameStop.  The game will also be available online through digital versions that can be bought on Steam, Xbox Live and PlayStation network. Dusenberry CEO Tom Dusenberry said that while NASCAR '15 is a legacy game, they will be offering the video game at a value price for NASCAR fans. Thus the game's price is set at $19.99 on all versions and consoles.

NASCAR '15 is not a full-fledged sequel to NASCAR '14 but rather a standalone update to last year's game. It will feature updates from the all-new 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Enhanced 16-racer online multiplayer races and leagues are promised along with an engaging career mode with new schedules, drivers, teams and tracks.

Over 60 paint schemes will also be added for racecar designing.  One thing to note is that the game will not feature challenge updates through the real-life 2015 season.

NASCAR '15 is the first installment in the series since the NASCAR video game rights were handed over from Eutechnyx to Dusenberry Martin Racing, a subsidiary of DMi Games.

"NASCAR continues to seek ways to engage fans across multiple platforms, and NASCAR '15 is the latest way fans can interact with our sport," said Blake Davidson, Vice President of Licensing and Consumer Products for NASCAR in a press release.

"The release of NASCAR '15 is the first step in a long-term plan with Dusenberry Martin Racing to take an aggressive approach to create innovative gaming products that puts racing in the hands of NASCAR fans and gamers alike."

NASCAR '15 is not the only game being developed by Dusenberry Martin Racing as they are also working on NASCAR '16 game for Xbox One, PS4 and PC that is set to be released next year, 2016. NASCAR fans and casual racing gamers must definitely check this game out.
