Earlier this year, Microsoft Surface Pro was awarded the "best tablet" award at the Mobile World Congress. By reason of this honor, many are keen that the next Surface Pro 4 will move past all expectations and a huge leap from what it is now. Currently, there are numerous speculations the ultimate laptop/hybrid tablet looks likes and what killer roundup features it holds.

It is expected that Surface Pro 4 comes in two models; one in 12 inches and the other one with 14 inches. Both of these variants run at 2K display. The major difference however is that the 12-inch tablet is powered by a Broadwell processor while the 14-inch variant boasts a state-of-the-art high-grade hybrid of Intel i5 and i7 processors.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with 1 terabyte of storage and will be LTE-ready. The company aims to improve battery life with its devices and Surface Pro 4 is expected to last up to 10 hours with non-stop video playback. To date, Microsoft has remained silent as to the specific launch date of the anticipated Surface Pro 4, however, the company's recent price slash of Surface Pro 3 is an indication that the new generation tablet-laptop hybrid is coming real soon. The rumors of the Surface Pro 4's release do not cease despite Microsoft's recent introduction of the budget-friendly version of the Surface Pro 3 - the Surface 3. The new Surface 3 was positioned to compete with Apple's iPad and to date, it receives favorable response from the technological community.

Latest gossip indicates that Surface Pro 4 launches by July this year and sells at a price range of $1,200 - $2,000. Nonetheless, since Surface Pro 4 runs on Windows 10 and the OS is set for public introduction by October this year, a good number of followers believe Surface Pro 4 launches by October as well.
