Dragon Age: Inquisition PS4 Jaws of Hakkon DLC Unsure Release: BioWare uncertain to Xbox One exclusivity, disappoints PS4 users

Initially released in PC and Xbox One last March 24, Dragon Age: Inquisition Jaws of Hakkon DLC for PS4 remains uncertain since they aren't sure about the length of its exclusivity for Xbox One. Thus, BioWare asked the players who are using the PS4 console to be patient.

Recently, it was reported that BioWare announced that they are not sure when would be the release date for the PS4 platform for the game. Since it was first released in Xbox One, they aren't sure about the duration of its exclusive agreement with Xbox One.

Through their official Twitter account, they tweeted, "It will come. Hopefully you can be patient." This was said by Mark Darrah, the executive producer for Dragon Age franchise while apologizing to the PS4 players about this disappointing issue.

He responded to one of the fans, "Sorry to have disappointed you. I hope you will stick with us." This was to answer one the tweets, "Good job, Bioware marketing, for leaving us PS4 users out in the cold. Also, a thumbs up for not even giving a release date."

Indeed, this news is really a big frustration to fans, however, BioWare hoped that the fans would be more patient while waiting for their statement with regards to the release date. They are trying to make sure anyway that Dragon Age: Inquisition players will surely enjoy it in multiple platforms.

Yet, for the moment, they remain unsure about this.

The Jaws of Hakkon DLC comprises different exciting features which PC and Xbox One had already experienced. Sooner or later, it will be available for PS4, depending upon the announcements from BioWare.

These features include:

  • Uncover a lost chapter in the history of the Inquisition and discover the ultimate fate of the last inquisitor
  • Explore a vast, new area in Thedas with lush forests and mountainous terrain
  • Earn the respect of Avvar warriors while destroying an ancient cult
  • Strengthen the Inquisition through new operations unlocked by your discoveries

On the other hand, Mike Laidlaw, Dragon Age's creative director shared several tips for gamers particularly for PC users. Through his Twitter account, he cited new mouse cursor size option, tac cam, auto-attack key, and more available in Options/Display days ago, by saying,

"PC Players coming back to DAI for JoH that run high rez, there's a new mouse cursor size option in Options/Display:"

"PC Players, there's now an option to pull your tac cam out further outdoors. Options>Controls."

"There is a bindable auto-attack key for PC as well. Look for it in key bindings."

Aside from these tips for the game, he also revealed that there may be patches available for the platform soon, so, he advised PC users to keep their selves updated. "Also worth keeping an eye out for from recent patches" Auto attack, tinting armor & inv. storage (Undercroft), binding additional mouse keys." He added, "Also on PC, walk toggle, and sheathe/unsheathe weapons. Mostly for cool factor. You will have to bind the keys yourself for those two."

Although the game will cost users for around 12 UK pounds, approximately around $15 just for 5 to 8 hours gameplay, Jaws of Hakkon DLC assures them that that the optimal gaming experience is guaranteed.

Based from the review, it was stated, "I love Inquisition and I'm happy to get more of what Jaws of Hakkon offers."

Dragon Age: Inquisition Jaws of Hakkon DLC provides gamers different kinds of achievements that they could utilizing all throughout the game such as, Firestarter, Legend-Marked, Historian, and Winter's End.
