If you think you are going to wait for several months for Winds of Winter, you are wrong. Just recently, there are news pointing that the book might be finished this year. According to George R.R. Martin, he will focus on the book first. In fact, he will be missing some major events to focus on his writing. But of course, we wouldn't want to give you false hopes, so let's just see about it.

Meanwhile, we shared in one of our reports that Game of Thrones will deviate from the original plot. But that doesn't mean that 100% of the scenes aren't from the author's mind. You have to remember that the show's creators and George R.R. Martin have been discussing the direction of the story. They might take different ways or routes, but it is most likely that they reach the same ending.

If this is the case, will it affect the book's sales? Not really. There would be spoilers that can be seen from the TV series, but having that accomplishment of reading the book is just different. Plus, who wouldn't want to know the original plot? It would also be a great discussion point. Which one is better, the TV series, or the book? We will be waiting for this debate right after a number of readers have finished Winds of Winter.

Another source has revealed some of the episode titles from Game of Thrones. Of course, there is no certainty about it. But it definitely heightens the excitement of the fans of the TV series and the book.

Even if we have some positive news about Winds of Winter, we really hope that this will not put pressure on George R.R. Martin. We still want quality books, like what he provided us before. While we hope that it's going to be out in the market this 2015, we are willing to prolong our patience just in case he needs to extend it too.
