General Hospital episodes for the remaining days of the week and for the next revolve around tons of paternity questions. First we have Ava and her baby Avery who has been the subject of custody issues between Michael and Sonny. Also, Olivia Falconer is pregnant and Ned accepts responsibility.

Ava's pregnancy has long been an issue in General Hospital, for fans have seen the circumstances surrounding the conception of Avery. Ava made love with both her boy toy, Morgan Corinthos and with Sonny Corinthos on the day she got pregnant. Moreover, recall that at the time of the Ava's pregnancy, she was held hostage by Sonny Corinthos for the murder of her girlfriend. He needs to do such in order for him to make it easier to kill Ava after she gives birth. When Avery was born, Carly had the child tested for DNA in order to determine real paternity. It is here where the questions arise. It was Dr. Silas Clay who conducted the paternity test and after the test, Carly specifically thanked him for expediting the examination. Knowing what Carly is capable of, it is not hard to imagine that she and Silas altered the results for her to protect her son. Now, both Carly and Silas (even Kiki) become key factors in unravelling Avery's real father.

On the other side of Port Charles, someone lies who the father of her child is. For the past year, Olivia Falconeri points to Ned Ashton as the father but fans are doubtful. She and Ned has been the best of friends yet he was always seen trying to get back with his ex-girlfriend, Alexis and patch things up. When Alexis and Ned are finally back together, Olivia was distraught. The last blow was when she saw the two at the NYE party. She was so crushed that she, unwillingly, threw herself to the man she loathe, Julian Jerome. Later one, Olivia discovered she was pregnant and Ned, being her best friend had to do something to save her.

It looks like General Hospital drama in the next weeks orbit these paternity issues. Julian Jerome disproves Ned's claim that the child was his and Sonny does everything in his power to keep Avery away from the Jeromes.
