The much-anticipated Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 has kicked off in Barcelona, Spain  and Samsung has just revealed Galaxy S6 with its impressive features. The next flagship smartphone of the tech giant is made of glass-coated chassis, curved edges and boasts quick battery charging and super fast high resolution camera.

The South Korean firm shows the killer S6 revamp and an impressive corner curves like that of iPhone 6 . The prototype model shown in public has its front and back panels made of glass, while the sides are made of metal. It was hinted already in a previous report by Samsung Normay.

The screen's resolution is also super crisp, packing in an incredible 577 pixels per inch on the phone's AMOLED screen. The camera is made from a 16-megapixel sensor and an F1.9 lens which is known for its quick loading capacity. Simply click the home button twice and it launches almost immediately--in 0.7 seconds, according to Samsung. Samsung Galaxy S6 shows a partially protruding back camera lens.

The battery phones lasts for up to 12 hours on Wi-Fi and charges "faster than any other smartphone in the industry," Samsung CEO JK Shin said. It takes 10 minutes to charge the S6 to get four hours of battery life, he claimed.

It remains uncertain for now if Samsung is releasing an API that will allow third-party developers to create apps that utilize the curved sides of the screen.

On top of that, an FCC document hints that Samsung is incorporating an exciting wireless charging support to Galaxy S6. The patent document shows the model number of the accessory as EP-PG920I. However, the new technology has not been detailed at the event aside from its mention of the 5V at 2Amps input voltage, while the charging current is said to top at 645mAh.

Meanwhile, Galaxy S6 Edge is reportedly limited "due to the low yield of the dual-curved displays," which is said to showcase a new technology. In addition, the Galaxy S6 Edge comprises of one-third of the total Galaxy S6 units. Considerably a huge number.
