Popular animated series The Legend of Korra's fourth and final season concluded last December. But apparently it still  a mind-blowing creation with the continuous petitions that it should be air or have a movie version and revelation that Korra is gay.  

Aired from 2012 to 2014, Legend of Korra proved that animation has room for young and old ones.  More than a month since Korra and her gang bid goodbye, the petitions to bring it back or create another spin-off.  LOK was a brainchild of Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who are also creator of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Apart from the ongoing petitions for rerun and movie version just like  what Avatar, there's also another explosive trivia about  the 17-year old Avatar Korra- she's confirmed gay. The confirmation came from her creators herself and her special someone was indeed, Asami.

"You can celebrate it, embrace it, accept it, get over it, or whatever you feel the need to do, but there is no denying it. That is the official story. We received some wonderful press in the wake of the series finale at the end of last week, and just about every piece I read got it right: Korra and Asami fell in love. Were they friends? Yes, and they still are, but they also grew to have romantic feelings for each other," 39-year old animation director and musician Konietzko posted on his Tumblr.

DiMartino also wrote on his own social media account about the issue. He mentioned that it's their intention to clarify through the final scene that Korra and Asami had a romantic connection. He also added that they just only wait that final episode to air before revealing it.

Meanwhile, there's a speculation that Legend of Korra has a two-part prequel and will show this year. According to K Pop Starz's article, the said possible prequels are slated to air on September 23 and December 16 respectively.
